C\u00f3\u017c, mo\u017cliwe \u017ce lider pierwszego z wymienionych projekt\u00f3w, ukrywaj\u0105cy si\u0119 pod pseudonimem Mercury niejaki Linton Rubino, sam jest po cz\u0119\u015bci odpowiedzialny za taki stan rzeczy. Z drugiej strony skojarzenie by\u0107 mo\u017ce pozwoli\u0142o lepiej rozpropagowa\u0107 mark\u0119 Priest w\u015br\u00f3d fan\u00f3w metalu \u2013 z kt\u00f3rym recenzowany tutaj zesp\u00f3\u0142 \u0142\u0105cz\u0105 przede wszystkim szpikulce na lateksowej masce lidera. Priest wykonuje bowiem niezwykle energetyczn\u0105 mieszank\u0119 EBM, synth popu i dark electro, kt\u00f3ra mo\u017ce wszak\u017ce przypa\u015b\u0107 do gustu r\u00f3wnie\u017c fanom muzyki synthwave. Teoretycznie, album powtarza patenty z poprzednika \u2013 przez ca\u0142o\u015b\u0107 kr\u0105\u017cka jest niezwykle energicznie i jeszcze bardziej EBMowo (cz\u0119\u015b\u0107 numer\u00f3w zahacza wr\u0119cz o motoryk\u0119 Die Krupps), ale jest te\u017c znaczniej bardziej ciekawie, a retro stylistyka zaskakuje klarownym, wsp\u00f3\u0142czesnym brzmieniem. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nie ukrywam, \u017ce bardzo mi to odpowiada \u2013 sztuczne \u201epostarzanie\u201d brzmienia przez ton\u0119 \u201evintage\u2019owych\u201d efekt\u00f3w i pog\u0142os\u00f3w mo\u017ce fan\u00f3w prawdziwej muzyki z lat osiemdziesi\u0105tych jedynie irytowa\u0107. Jest to jednak znacznie ciekawsza wariacja na temat \u201eBlack celebration\u201d ni\u017c wypieki Steve\u2019a Naghaviego z And One, bo Priest nie wacha si\u0119 dorzuci\u0107 chocia\u017cby nieoczywistych, latynoskich patent\u00f3w perkusyjnych (\u201emore cowbell\u201d!) i poprawi\u0107 znowu\u017c funkowymi wokalami. W sumie nie dziwie si\u0119, \u017ce zesp\u00f3\u0142 znalaz\u0142 wierne grono fan\u00f3w w USA. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No c\u00f3\u017c, \u017ce ze Szwecji \u2013 chcia\u0142oby si\u0119 napisa\u0107 \u2013 niemniej kl\u0105twa Abby wci\u0105\u017c unosi si\u0119 nad melodiami tw\u00f3rc\u00f3w \u201eVaudeville\u201d.
