W muzyce popularnej to niemal ca\u0142a epoka \u2013 zmieni\u0142y si\u0119 trendy, sposoby konsumpcji, pojawi\u0142y si\u0119 nowe platformy streamingowe, inne jest w zasadzie ca\u0142e \u015brodowisko. Ale w \u015bwiecie dark independent czas p\u0142ynie &nbsp;inaczej. Kto bywa\u0142 na Castle Party w 2012 i trafi\u0142by nagle na edycj\u0119 2025, m\u00f3g\u0142by odnie\u015b\u0107 wra\u017cenie, \u017ce niewiele si\u0119 zmieni\u0142o \u2013 mo\u017ce tylko piwo na zamku jest lepsze ni\u017c wtedy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Scena, owszem, ewoluuje \u2013 wolno, ale jednak. Pojawiaj\u0105 si\u0119 projekty z wp\u0142ywami berghainowskiego techno, czasem odwo\u0142uj\u0105ce si\u0119 do retro estetyki lat 80. i 90., jak polskie NHMN,  kt\u00f3re wyst\u0105pi\u0142o na CP par\u0119 lat temu, czy Ultra Sunn i Aux Animaux (tegoroczni arty\u015bci festiwalu). Jednak trzon sceny pozostaje ten sam. Fani aggrotechu, dark electro, goth industrialu wci\u0105\u017c s\u0142uchaj\u0105 tych samych rzeczy, a weterani pokroju Hocico czy Suicide Commando nagrywaj\u0105 wci\u0105\u017c w tym samym stylu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>H.EXE<\/strong> nale\u017cy do tej starej szko\u0142y \u2013 cho\u0107 paradoksalnie, gdy ich debiut <em>Killing Monsters<\/em> (2011) si\u0119 ukaza\u0142, by\u0142 absolutnym novum w Polsce. Owszem, istnia\u0142y Skon (<em>Nic realnego<\/em>), Bodycall, Controlled Collapse, pierwsze nagrania Reaktor7x czy Unsinn, kt\u00f3re pojawi\u0142y si\u0119 w Halotan Records, ale nikt nie gra\u0142 tak intensywnego, czystego aggrotechu, oderwanego od EBM-owych fundament\u00f3w. Jeszcze wcze\u015bniej <strong>Odo<\/strong> stworzy\u0142 samodzielnie pierwsz\u0105 EP-k\u0119 <em>Realms of Unhuman Pleasures<\/em>, a dla mnie momentem prze\u0142omowym by\u0142o <em>Venom<\/em> \u2013 prosta, ale pot\u0119\u017cna produkcja Rexa Rottena bezb\u0142\u0119dnym z wokalem Odo, kt\u00f3ry od pocz\u0105tku wyr\u00f3\u017cnia\u0142 si\u0119 na scenie (przede wszystkim ma\u0142\u0105 ilo\u015bci\u0105 efektowych wspomagaczy). Cho\u0107 w mi\u0119dzyczasie zesp\u00f3\u0142 gra\u0142 na \u017cywo i wydawa\u0142 pojedyncze materia\u0142y, dopiero teraz wracaj\u0105 z rozmachem. <em>Anthems of the Unseen Tide<\/em> to album dwup\u0142ytowy, wydany przez <strong>blackenedArt<\/strong>. Na pierwszej p\u0142ycie (<em>Initial<\/em>) znajdziemy wersje gitarowe inspirowane koncertowym sk\u0142adem \u2013 z <strong>Luke<\/strong> na gitarze, <strong>Einarem <\/strong>i <strong>Ad-x<\/strong> na klawiszach (ten drugi jest odpowiedzialny za ca\u0142\u0105 stron\u0119 producenck\u0105). Druga p\u0142yta (<em>Legacy<\/em>) to czyste dark electro, w duchu klasycznego H.EXE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pocz\u0105tkowo mia\u0142em w\u0105tpliwo\u015bci \u2013 lubi\u0119, kiedy artysta prowadzi s\u0142uchacza, a nie daje mu dwie r\u00f3wnorz\u0119dne wersje do wyboru. Ale w sumie tak wygl\u0105da dzi\u015b \u017cycie wielu projekt\u00f3w dark independent: elektronika w studiu, a na scenie gitary, bas, \u017cywa perkusja. H.EXE po prostu pokazuje i \u0142\u0105czy oba te \u015bwiaty. Produkcj\u0105 <em>Initial<\/em> zaj\u0105\u0142 si\u0119 <strong>Haldor Grunberg<\/strong> (Satanic Audio), znany z miks\u00f3w dla Behemotha i gry w &nbsp;Thaw i s\u0142ycha\u0107 to w g\u0119stym, monumentalnym brzmieniu. Pytanie, czy nie jest ono zbyt ci\u0119\u017ckie i zbyt nasycone (mnie osobi\u015bcie m\u0119czy &#8211; ale mo\u017ce to wina mojego urazu akustycznego \ud83d\ude09 ) . &nbsp;<em>Legacy<\/em> miksowali <strong>Ad-x<\/strong> i <strong>Odo<\/strong>, master wykona\u0142 <strong>Einar<\/strong> \u2013 tu jest wi\u0119cej przestrzeni i klarowno\u015bci, dzi\u0119ki czemu s\u0142ycha\u0107 ka\u017cdy niuans aran\u017cacyjny.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"593\" height=\"593\" src=\"https:\/\/halotan.net\/pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2025\/08\/IMG_4840-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4759\" srcset=\"https:\/\/halotan.net\/pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2025\/08\/IMG_4840-1.jpg 593w, https:\/\/halotan.net\/pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2025\/08\/IMG_4840-1-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/halotan.net\/pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2025\/08\/IMG_4840-1-150x150.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 593px) 100vw, 593px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>To p\u0142yta koncepcyjna \u2013 nie tylko lirycznie (inspiracje Lovecraftem: <em>The Bells<\/em>, <em>The Outpost<\/em>, <em>Antarktos<\/em>, <em>Festival<\/em>, <em>The Nightmare Lake<\/em>, <em>On Reading Lord Dunsany\u2019s Book of Wonder<\/em>), ale i strukturalnie. Trwa 35 minut, bez wype\u0142niaczy, z wyra\u017an\u0105 dramaturgi\u0105. Otwiera j\u0105 <em>At the Threshold<\/em> \u2013 utrzymany w \u015brednim tempie kolos. Potem <em>Sunless Tides <\/em>\u2013 atmosfera jeszcze bardziej tu g\u0119stnieje. Tr\u0105by rozpoczynaj\u0105ce utw\u00f3r przypominaj\u0105 symfoniczne motywy z tw\u00f3rczo\u015bci \u00a0Bathory, ale dla mnie\u00a0 przede wszystkim <em>Det Som Engang Var<\/em> Burzum (otwieraj\u0105cy m\u00f3j ulubiony album projektu\u00a0 \u2013 Hvis Lyset Tar Oss). Album zaczyna rozp\u0119dza\u0107 si\u0119 przy kolejnym numerem, <em>Auroras and Faint Suns<\/em>, w kt\u00f3rym Odo przekonuje nas, \u017ceby\u015bmy porzucili wszelk\u0105 nadziej\u0119. Na szcz\u0119\u015bcie ten apel nie dotyczy nadziei na kolejne \u015bwietne utwory na tym albumie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u015arodek albumu to m\u00f3j ulubiony fragment, kt\u00f3ry sk\u0142ada si\u0119 z najbardziej przebojowych numer\u00f3w na ca\u0142ym kr\u0105\u017cku \u2013 <em>The Old Museum<\/em>, <em>Blood on the Altar<\/em> i <em>Elder\u2019s Lair<\/em>. Dwa z nich poznali\u015bmy ju\u017c dzi\u0119ki Epkom i wykonaniom na \u017cywo. Uwielbiam przede wszystkim <em>The Old Museum<\/em>, w kt\u00f3rym doskonale s\u0142ycha\u0107, jak Odo sprawnie operuje wokalem (uj\u0119tym przecie\u017c w do\u015b\u0107 w\u0105sk\u0105 form\u0119 blackmetalowego skrzekotu) \u2013 szept, pauza, wrzask, wszystko podparte basem, kt\u00f3ry dudni jak przebudzony w g\u0142\u0119binach Z kolei <em>Elder\u2019s Lair<\/em> to najbardziej taneczny moment albumu, z syntezatorowym motywem przywodz\u0105cym na my\u015bl klasyczne dark electro, a tak\u017ce wcze\u015bniejsz\u0105 tw\u00f3rczo\u015b\u0107 samego H.EXE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fina\u0142 \u2013 <em>That Thing Within<\/em> i <em>Sphere on Sphere<\/em> \u2013 wraca do monumentalno\u015bci otwarcia. W <em>Sphere on Sphere<\/em> gitary i syntezatory brzmi\u0105 tak, jakby przedwieczny stw\u00f3r z tw\u00f3rczo\u015bci Lovecrafta wynurza\u0142 si\u0119 z odm\u0119t\u00f3w zatopionego miasta. Tutaj warto nawi\u0105za\u0107 ok\u0142adki autorstwa <strong>Pauli \u201cYu\u201d Szymkowskiej<\/strong> z Her Own World \u2013 absolutnie pi\u0119knej, idealnie oddaj\u0105cej klimat albumu. Ch\u0119tnie zobaczy\u0142bym t\u0119 p\u0142yt\u0119 na winylu, w du\u017cym formacie, bo to grafika, w kt\u00f3rej mo\u017cna si\u0119 zanurzy\u0107 \u2013 dos\u0142ownie i w przeno\u015bni.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ca\u0142o\u015b\u0107 pokazuje, \u017ce H.EXE dzi\u015b nie tylko nie odstaje od sceny, ale jest jednym z najwa\u017cniejszych polskich projekt\u00f3w w klimatach dark electro \/ industrial metal. I to nie dlatego, \u017ce konkurencja jest s\u0142aba \u2013 po prostu <em>Anthems of the Unseen Tide<\/em> jest \u015bwietnie napisanym, sp\u00f3jnym i znakomicie zrealizowanym albumem.
