Etylen is an instrumental side project of Andy - musician (synths, production) of Bodycall band and the co-founder of Halotan Records.
"The World of the Dead" was originally released in 2002.
Dark Electro, Aggrotech, Industrial – those are the most appropriate tags for this release. Etylen’s inspirations range from ebm, dark electro power-noise to more techno genres like goa trance.
Etylen creates fast dance music for the dark electronic clubbing scene, loaded with samples from classic horror movies, full of screams and strange voices. The music contains rich melodic layer while remaining aggressive and dancefloor-worthy.
This release is of the lucky find type. For more than two decades (original release took place in 2002) it existed only as a low quality mp3 download.
Original wav masters were thought to be lost, but re-surfaced during some digging in ancient CDs. Well here you have a proof that cheap recordable CDs can survive 24 years.
Thus, high quality mp3 download is now available as well as lossless FLAC.
Etylen to side project Andy'go - muzyka polskiego zespołu Bodycall (syntezatory, produkcja) i zarazem współtwórcy Halotan Records.
"The World of the Dead" został opublikowany w roku 2002.
Przez ponad dwie dekady "The World of the Dead" istniał tylko jako niskiej jakości download mp3, ponieważ oryginalne mastery zaginęły.
