Physical re-release of Bodycall's first original 2003 demo. The style varies from synthpop through ebm to dark electro.

Over 20 years have passed since its original release so this material can be rightfully considered oldschool now.

Apart from two songs and a handful of vocals which were recorded in a studio all the songs were recorded in a basement of an abandoned heating plant.

The unique acoustics of this very appropriate setting can be heard in this raw and unpolished music.

The front cover on the photo differs from the original one. Back in 2003 "Somatic Turn" was released in a plain cardboard box, so it had only front and back.

As Halotan Records' releases have 4-page booklet, new graphics were added. To achieve the original look you simply have to insert the booklet the other way around.

"Somatic Turn" (2003) Bodycall było jednym z pierwszych na naszej scenie wydawnictw w stylu synthpop/ebm z domieszką dark electro.

Na dzisiejsze czasy rzecz bardzo oldschoolowa. Materiał nie został zremasterowany ani zmieniony w żaden inny sposób.

Nagranie materiału (poza dwoma utworami i częścią partii wokalnych zrealizowanych w studio) odbywało się w opuszczonym podziemnym węźle ciepłowniczym, pośród gruzu, syfu i plątaniny rur.

Doskonałą dla muzyki industrialnej akustykę tego pomieszczenia można do dziś podziwiać słuchając Somatic Turn.

Reedycja posiada wkładkę i inlay które można odwracać uzyskując w ten sposób oryginalny wygląd płyty albo nowy, re-edycyjny.

Podyktowane to jest tym, że oryginalne wydanie nie miało jewel case'a, tyko kartonowe pudełko, więc żeby wydać to w standardzie Halotan Records trzeba było dorobić nowe grafiki.

Über 20 Jahre sind seit der ursprünglichen Veröffentlichung vergangen, so dass dieses Material nun zu Recht als Oldschool bezeichnet werden kann.

Abgesehen von zwei Songs und einer Handvoll Vocals, die in einem Studio aufgenommen wurden, wurden alle Songs im Keller eines verlassenen Heizkraftwerks aufgenommen.

Die einzigartige Akustik dieser sehr passenden Umgebung ist in dieser rohen und ungeschliffenen Musik zu hören.

Das Frontcover auf dem Foto weicht vom Original ab. Damals, 2003, wurde "Somatic Turn" in einer schlichten Pappschachtel veröffentlicht, die nur Vorder- und Rückseite hatte.

Da die Veröffentlichungen von Halotan Records ein 4-seitiges Booklet haben, wurden neue Grafiken hinzugefügt. Um den Original-Look zu erreichen, muss man das Booklet einfach andersherum einlegen.
