The third instalment of our “Halotan Sounds” compilations shows the state of Polish dark electronic scene in the year 2024.

You can also listen to Halotan Sounds 2 (2015) and Halotan Sounds 1 (2010).

This edition is special because for this release we teamed up with Castle Party Festival. We – Halotan Recrods – handle electronic part of this release and Castle Party manufactured physical CD.

This way the compilation is available in places where festival's merch is. It is very fitting as Castle Party is the largest event of this type in Poland and one of the largest in Europe. As it takes place in a medieval castle (main stage is located in castle's courtyard), we can easily say it is the only of it's kind.

As our “Halotan Sounds” compilations tend to come out very infrequently, they can serve as a great to tell the condition of Polish scene across time.

Looks like the rumours of our scene's demise have once more been greatly exaggerated.

We have lots of fresh faces, new projects, new ideas. Old veterans hold the line, some projects that have been silent for a long time start to make music again.

And indeed, Bolkow Castle's courtyard is still as full of life and people as ever.

Halotan Sounds 3 is a very varied release.

There are analogue experimental sounds, there are references to oldschool classics, guitar-electronic hybrids and modern club-oriented dark electro.

We have something for everyone, so we encourage you to dive in and get a taste of polish dark independent electronic.

Trzecia edycja składanki Halotan Sounds to przekrojowy stan elektronicznej części polskiej sceny dark independent w roku 2024.

Posłuchaj też poprzednich części Halotan Sounds: Halotan Sounds 2 (2015) i Halotan Sounds 1 (2010).

Edycja ta jest wynikiem współpracy Halotan Records z festiwalem Castle Party. Dzięki tej współpracy fizyczny nośnik to standardowa płyta w digipaku (Halotan wydaje tylko CDR-y), dostępna wszędzie tam gdzie festiwalowy merch.

Stąd też na naszej stronie dostępna jest tylko wersja elektroniczna, natomiast wersję fizyczną płyty można znaleźć tylko w realu.

Składanki “Halotan Sounds” wychodzą w tak dużych odstępach czasowych (średnio co 7 lat, pierwsza edycja to rok 2010), że mogą służyć za bardzo dobry punkt odniesienia wskazujący kondycję sceny.

Z wielką radością donosimy, że po raz kolejny już pogłoski o śmierci sceny okazały się być przesadzone.

Na scenie nadal pojawiają się nowe twarze, nowe projekty. Weterani dzielnie się trzymają. Projekty które milczały przez lata wydają nowe kawałki. Na dziedzińcu bolkowskiego zamku nadal tłumy.

Rozpiętość stylistyczna składanki jest ogromna.

Mamy analogowe eksperymentalne dźwięki, mamy nawiązania do oldschoolowej klasyki, są gitarowo-elektroniczne hybrydy i wreszcie klasyczne, nowoczesne dark electro.

Zapraszamy do słuchania, ściągania i udostępniania utworów z tej składanki.

Przede wszystkim dziękujemy tobie. Jeżeli czytasz te słowa to jesteś w scenie, interesuje cię muzyka którą promujemy. Bez ciebie ta muzyka nie istnieje. Kimkolwiek jesteś – dzięki że tu z nami jesteś.

Dziękujemy festiwalowi Castle Party za wyprodukowanie na własny koszt fizycznej płyty ze składanką – dzięki czemu fani mogą dostać do rąk “prawdziwą płytę”. To wiele znaczy.

Die dritte Ausgabe unserer "Halotan Sounds"-Compilations zeigt den Zustand der polnischen Dark Independent-Szene im Jahr 2024.

Diese Ausgabe ist etwas Besonderes, denn für diese Veröffentlichung haben wir uns mit dem Castle Party Festival zusammengetan. Wir - Halotan Recrods - kümmern uns um den elektronischen Teil dieser Veröffentlichung und Castle Party hat die physische CD produziert.

Auf diese Weise ist die Compilation überall dort erhältlich, wo auch das Merch des Festivals erhältlich ist. Das ist sehr passend, da Castle Party die größte Veranstaltung dieser Art in Polen und eine der größten in Europa ist.

Da unsere "Halotan Sounds"-Compilations nur sehr selten erscheinen, können sie hervorragend dazu dienen, den Zustand der polnischen Szene im Laufe der Zeit zu dokumentieren.

Es sieht so aus, als ob die Gerüchte über den Niedergang unserer Szene wieder einmal stark übertrieben waren.

Wir haben viele frische Gesichter, neue Projekte, neue Ideen. Alte Veteranen halten die Stellung, einige Projekte, die lange Zeit still waren, fangen wieder an, Musik zu machen.

Und in der Tat, der Hof der Burg Bolkow ist immer noch voller Leben und Menschen.

Halotan Sounds 3 ist eine sehr abwechslungsreiche Veröffentlichung.

Es gibt analoge experimentelle Sounds, es gibt Referenzen an Oldschool-Klassiker, Gitarren-Elektronik-Hybride und modernen cluborientierten Dark Electro.

Wir haben für jeden etwas dabei, also ermutigen wir euch, einzutauchen und einen Vorgeschmack auf polnische Dark Independent-Elektronik zu bekommen.
